Peas
Peas are a very popular vegetable to grow and come in two main forms. There is the standard pea which requires podding, and the snow pea. Both varieties can be very tasty straight off the plant. I have had some trouble germinating peas on occasion as snails and other animals like to nibble on the shoots. Sometimes snail pellets can help, or better still, you may want to buy some pre-germinated seedlings. It really depends how many plants you want to grow.
Peas will also need staking after a couple of weeks so that they can climb. This will help the fruit off the ground and make picking your produce much easier.
