Potatoes
Potatoes are a great high produce winter crop. They are usually purchased as a small sack of old seeding potatoes and then chopped into several slices before planting. It is important to keep a few of the 'eyes' on each piece as this is where the potatoes will shoot from. There are several varieties to choose from however they all make a great tasty staple food crop usually grown in winter.
