Zucchini
Zucchinis are great high yielding vegetables and relatively easy to plant and maintain. They can be fried, or served as a side to numerous dishes making them a versatile vegetable. Since only a few plants will give you a good feed, many people decide to purchase punnets with about 8 plants in them and this gives them a bit of a head start. You can choose several varieties of zucchini aswell including the light green lebanese zucchini. As a general rule, the smaller you pick the zucchini, the tastier it will be. Small zucchinis are called courgettes and are often served as a bit of a delicacy.
Mold
The one thing that seems to be a problem with zucchini plants is mold on the leaves. There is not much you can do about this unfortunately, but you should choose a good sunny location during the right season to minimise the likelihood of mold becoming a problem.
